[FIC] The ‘heroes’ to the rescue. (2/?)

This is afterall, a FANFIC.
They are normal guys, so don't worry. ^^v

Disclaimer: Arashi do not belong to me. They belong to Johnny’s (grumbles). This fic is mine.

Notes: There isn’t much lovey dovey talk this chapter =S. As usual, pardon me for any of the grammar and vocab mistakes I’ve made ^^;;. Not yet beta-ed. I feel that this is a crappy chapter though...=X (I wondered why I mentioned Chinen...?)

“Ah, I see. Please Nino, if Aiba calls you or if you have seen Aiba anywhere, please inform me immediately. I just have a strong feeling that Aiba is in danger… I’ll go and look around for him. REMEMBER to inform me if you’ve seen him okay?”

“Shit… Was Aiba the one who called me just now?" He thought to himself.

“Oh-chan, Oh-chan!”

“Huh? What happened? Has Sho-kun gone?”

“Yes. B-b-but, Aiba-chan have gone missing.”

“W-what happened?!”

“I-I don’t know… Ne, Oh-chan… Do you think that call just now was from Aiba-chan…?”

He, who no longer showed any resemblance of a newscaster, had been searching high and low for Aiba, but to no avail. He looked pale, worn-out, and lifeless.

“Sho-kun, are you alright? You look really weak. Are you sure you don’t need some rest?”

Other than the time spent on ZERO, he spent the rest of his time searching for Aiba.

No sleep, no rest, and no food.

How long has this been continuing?

3 days.

The 3 days that seemed longer than a year for Sho.
(Now we know why there’s 2 plasma TV in Arashi…XD)

“Sho-kun! Chinen just called and said that he saw Aiba-chan with a group of weird and shabbily dressed ‘men-in-black’ dragging Aiba-chan into the abandoned storehouse near Otowa. A-a-and, Aiba-chan seemed to be drugged or something, he is totally unconscious!”

“Du-du-du--” Sho had hung up the call.

“Sho-kun--?!”

Sho immediately got into his car, driving at a constant speed of more than 100km/h, he soon reach Otowa.

Meanwhile...,

Shirusu omoi wo zenbu kanjiteru
tsuyoku mune no oku ni.
Tsutaetakute nando mo
kaita kotoba dake wa…

“Hai, moshi moshi.”

“Nino, you’re with Riida right? Put on something decent and wait below Riida’s apartment! I’ll be arriving in about 5mins time.”

Nino abruptly barged into the bathroom where Oh-chan is still having his bath.

“Oh Nino~, w-what do you need?” Ohno said, looking embarrassed.

“This is no time for joke, Riida. Quickly put on your clothes. Jun is arriving any minute now. It seems that something bad had happened. Be quick okay?!”

"Bonk! Bonk!"

Jun’s car horn could be heard from above. The pair quickly made their way down just in case Jun flared up.

“Matsujun… What happened?”

“Get in. I’ll explain to you on the way.”

After searching a few of the abandoned storehouse in Otowa, Sho finally found the lead to where Aiba was. He text messaged the details to Jun who was now on the way to Otowa.

Sho couldn’t wait any longer. He didn’t want to waste anymore time. In spite being the most cowardly in the group, he plucked up his courage and headed towards the storehouse, alone.

The storehouse looked desolated, creepy and ominous.

“How could Aiba-chan have survived here?” Sho wondered worryingly for his dearest.

Sho wasted no time.

He quickly squeezed himself through the narrow hole in-between the door and haphazardly looking around for Aiba’s traces.

He saw it! From afar, he saw Aiba. It was just like a reminded scene of a puppy being bullied by a group of nasty kids.

Sho clutched his fist. “I would never forgive myself if I just stand here and do nothing. I can’t. I just can’t.”

Without hesitating, he charged towards them. He knew he couldn’t beat them all. But he couldn’t stand a second more watching Aiba being tortured.

Knowing that he will definitely lose out if he uses force, he tried his luck. He prayed hard.

“Ne ne, isn’t that Johnny’s Keio boy? Let’s play him then.”

He prayed as he walked steadily towards them. He prayed for a miracle - a sound. Just a sound will do.

“I’ve already informed the police on my way here. They should be here any moment.”

“Do you think I’d believe your joke?” They laughed.

They knew Sho was lying through his teeth.

Just then, at this moment, the miracle he hoped for happened. The sound he hoped for - the sound of a fleet of police car passing by the vicinity.

“What? You really informed the police? How dare you! Guys, let’s go!”

Sho sighed in relieve. He quickly went to check on Aiba.

Aiba was weak, covered in bruises and cuts.

“Masaki, wake up! Masaki! Open your eyes! Masaki!! Please, give me some response!”

Upon hearing the familiar voice that sings tune in his ear, he tried forcing his eyes open. He couldn’t. He was becoming dizzy and nauseated. He soon blacked out again.

“MASAKI!!!” Sho was devastated.

He carried Aiba on his back and just as he was walking towards his car, the trio arrived.

“Sho-kun, Jun will take you to the hospital. You just sit at the back and accompany Aiba.”

“C’mon Oh-chan, I’ll drive you to the hospital, with just the two of us. ♥” He whispered into Ohno’s ear.
